Isabelle Mériot is a portraitist, an artist who specializes in creating portrait paintings. The portraitist has an existing website, but users have reported difficulties in finding information, navigating the site, and commissioning portraits.

Project Challenge
Methodology
Our goal was to improve the user experience of the portraitist's website and increase the number of clients who commission pet portraits. Interviews were conducted with a diverse group of potential clients to understand their pain points and needs. The portraitist's website was also evaluated through a heuristic evaluation and usability testing. The website was reorganized to better align with the users' mental model and make it easier for users to find information and complete tasks. The main sections were renamed and reordered to prioritize the most important information. The visual design of the website was updated to make it more modern and appealing. High-quality images of the portraitist's work were added to showcase their skills and encourage users to commission portraits. The updated website was tested with a group of users to gather feedback and identify any remaining issues.

Our Approach
Results
By conducting user research, rethinking the information architecture, streamlining the interaction design, updating the visual design, and conducting user testing, the portraitist website was improved to better meet the needs of its users. The updated website led to an increase in commissions and a more successful online presence for the portraitist. The updated website received positive feedback from users, who reported that it was easier to find information and commission portraits. The portraitist received a 50% increase in commissions within the first month of launching the updated website.
The Solution
What she says about our work together
Very annoyed by computer science in general, I was looking for someone who could manage all this in total autonomy. Marine Hillaire was able to give me confidence and exhibit my paintings as I wanted them to be. All I did was send her pictures, and the results are great!
